Because of this and because we have a cooler climate we can out perform systems of the same size on a line from Paris to Berlin. As Solar power production tends to fall away in temperatures above 25Deg C  we have the ideal temperature in which to produce Solar Electricity.

Jun 30th 2015At present there are no feedin tariffs from any of the electrical utility companies operating in the Rep. of Ireland, but there is talk of the government bringing in feed in tariffs in 2016. For companies who pay corporation tax in Ireland, they can avail of the Accelerated Capital Allowance grant which allows them to write off 100% of their outlay on photo voltaic systems in the year of installation. System connected to the national grid you need to complete the ESB NC6 Form to register your system, then have your installer issue a completion cert that is sent to the relevant registered electrical regulatory body, ECSSA or RECI that is then passed on to the ESB who then issue an invoice for €320 to have an import/export meter installed at the  site of the solar installation.Once the meter is installed the system is then up and running on the National grid.
